LIAISON LIBRARIANS
The Learning Resource Center provides college liaison staff for each academic area.
The role of the liaison staff is to:
Link the LRC with the colleges.
Link the LRC with students and academic and research staff of Hue University.
Ensure LRC staff know about developments in colleges.
Assist students and academic staff in searching the online catalogue,
databases, the Internet and other resources.
Ensure academic staff and students have the necessary information resources.
Conduct information literacy and training sessions for clients and new staff members.
Receive acquisition requests from academic colleges of Hue University.
Select new materials for purchase, and remove and discard material no longer needed.
